The 1st KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium 2020

The 1st KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium 2020 is organized by the consortium of Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, Cranfield University, United Kingdom, University of Wuppertal, Germany, and University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, which will be held virtually on August 20, 2020.

The KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium 2020 will provide a unique opportunity for doctoral students in the field of artificiality, sustainability and entrepreneurship to present their research and receive constructive feedback from the leading scholars in the area. The best-selected abstracts will be awarded.

KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium 2020 will:
•develop key presentation and critical thinking skills;
•give constructive feedback on the submitted works  and how to improve it;
•connect scholars from leading academic institutions and have fruitful research discussions;
•select a KEEN Best abstract Award and invite potential selected authors to contribute to a book „Artificiality, sustainability & entrepreneurship“.

Note. E-proceedings of the 1st KEEN PhD Colloquium, based on selected abstracts, will be published at the end of September.

Target group: current research projects which are related to artificiality, sustainability and entrepreneurship. Doctoral students are not limited to science areas including technological, natural and social sciences, but the proposed works should be aligned a conference topic “Artificiality, sustainability and entrepreneurship”. Interdisciplinary works are welcome to be submitted.
Limited to 40 participants!

The Conference Committee of the KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium 2020 will include a number of accomplished entrepreneurship scholars from leading academic institutions and have a considerable experience supervising doctoral students.

1st KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium 2020 “Artificiality and sustainability in entrepreneurship” conference proceedings

A virtual conference hosted by KTU, Knowledge-Empowered Entrepreneurship Network (KEEN).

Programme

Four Keynote speakers have an excellent publication record of leading academic journals, academic experience, have received distinguished research awards and/or create patents. During the three parallel thematic sessions in the KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium 2020 doctoral students will have an opportunity to interact with fellows about current topics including artificiality and sustainability in entrepreneurship. In addition, the format of the KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium will have a session facilitator to provide supportive discussion among the doctoral students and participating researchers. Finally, the final session will provide helpful insights for future research avenues and encourage doctoral students to interact as well.

PHD Colloquium submission

An abstract proposal should contain 1,000 words. Senior researchers including PhD supervisors may be co-authors, but the students must be the lead author and present the abstract at the conference.

Please submit your abstracts as a pdf document in an anonymized form (without author/s information)  by July 19, 2020.

Please note that late submissions or submissions that do not follow the requirements will not be considered.

Selected submissions will be published in electronic proceedings of the KEEN Forum PhD Colloquium.
